Director of Commercial Litigation
Tony is a solicitor and [[ director] [or] [consultant]] in the Commercial Litigation team.
Tony appreciates the distraction a dispute can cause, both in terms of management time and costs, and his approach is therefore to try to resolve his client’s disputes in a timely and cost-effective manner, whether by negotiation, mediation or litigation.
Tony’s work is as varied as the needs of his clients dictate, but key areas of his expertise cover contract and contract warranty claims, injunctions, professional negligence, boardroom and shareholder disputes, property and construction claims, finance litigation, insolvency and dealing with freezing and search orders.
Tony joined Stripes in June 2009, prior to that he was a partner and head of commercial litigation at Manchester solicitors JMW. Tony also spent over 15 years at solicitors DLA where he was latterly a partner in the commercial litigation department.
