Director of Company & Commercial
Stephen is a solicitor and director who leads the Corporate and Commercial Team.
Stephen established the Company and Commercial team in February 2006. His work covers a wide range of business matters from transactional work to general commercial contracts and advice. He undertakes a variety of work for clients ranging from sole traders to listed companies, but whoever he acts for, he strives to understand the client’s business better in order to be able to provide the best possible advice and service.
Stephen has been at the forefront of the use of insurance and surety to secure payment of deferred consideration in transactional matters, and is one of only a small number of providers of legal services to the suppliers of these products.
An Oldhamer by birth, prior to joining Stripes Stephen was a senior associate at DWF Solicitors.
