Consultant Solicitor
Paul, a Consultant Solicitor, joined Stripes in 2011 to spearhead further growth for the firm in Private Client work. Paul has considerable and detailed experience across the whole gamut of Private Client work and he undertakes:
- Estate planning using Wills, trusts and lifetime gifts
- Probate and the administration of estates
- Tax planning
- Trust administration
- Court of Protection
- Issues affecting the elderly
Paul has specialist experience of tax and estate planning dealing with high net worth estates. This includes businesses, farms, overseas assets, family conflicts, issues of domicile and Sharia law. He uses wills, lifetime disposals and where necessary complex trusts to achieve effective and often substantial tax savings
Paul spent a large part of his career at a top ten national law firm where he headed and built the Private Client Department into a significant business with responsibility for sourcing work for and managing over 100 staff.
