Crain’s Manchester Business, July 1 2009
Manchester law firm Stripes made another strategic appointment to its corporate and commercial team after recruiting commercial litigator Tony Winterburn.
Winterburn was previously head of commercial litigation at JMW Solicitors for the past three years. Prior to that, he spent more than 20 years at DLA. His expertise is in disputes arising under sale and purchase agreements, including breach of warranty claims, as well as corporate and business litigation including boardroom and shareholder disputes.
“The addition of Tony to our corporate and commercial team will further enhance the services to our client base of owner-managed businesses,” said the firm’s senior partner Andrew Stripe. “We appreciate that clients want their affairs handled by senior and experienced lawyers that charge realistic rates.”
