COMMERCIAL property lawyer Andrew Dunn has joined Manchester law firm Stripes Solicitors Limited as Director of Real Estate.
His appointment is a major coup for Stripes which has made a number of high-profile appointments in recent months as part of its ambitious growth strategy.
Andrew, who joins from the Manchester office of Cobbetts where he was a partner and, more recently, head of the property finance team, has more than a decade of experience in commercial property across all disciplines having advised lenders, investors, developers, landlord and tenants. (more…)

Mr Dunn joins from the Manchester office of Cobbetts, where he was most recently head of the property finance team. He has experience in commercial property across all disciplines having advised lenders, investors, developers, landlord and tenants.
He started his career at DLA where he qualified, and in 2004 he joined Cobbetts as a partner where he spent five years.

Commercial property lawyer Andrew Dunn has joined Manchester law firm Stripes Solicitors as director in charge of its real estate team.
The firm described his appointment as “a major coup” for the firm. Until recently, Dunn was head of the property finance team at Manchester-based law firm Cobbetts. He joined Cobbetts in 2004 from DLA, where he had qualified as a solicitor.
He had recently been advising both institutional lenders exposed to the market and developers looking for funding on coping with changing market values.
“In the present climate clients are seeking advisers who can be trusted to guide them through property and corporate focused re-structuring and re-financing projects as well as actively managing portfolios in order to achieve both growth and stability,” he said.
The head of Stripes Solicitors, Andrew Stripe, said the firm was continuing to bring in high caliber people as other law firms were cutting staff.
